Delete Your TapIn Account
You can delete your TapIn account and associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open the TapIn app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.
Option 2 — By email
If you can't access the app, email us from the address or with the phone number on your account and ask
us to delete it:
We will process email deletion requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Erased: your phone number, email address, and profile photo. Your sign-in is disabled
and active sessions end immediately.
- Retained: your past venue check-in records, with your first name, are kept as
attendance records for the venues you visited. They are no longer linked to any contactable account.
Registering again later with the same phone number creates a brand-new, blank account.
